Test Data Engineer

Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a Test Data Engineer with strong healthcare payer domain expertise to support test data creation across member, claims, and provider workflows. This role focuses on generating UI-based test data, supporting finance-related processes, and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and documentation throughout testing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create UI-based test data to support member, claims, pricing, adjudication, and provider workflows.
• Collaborate with business and QA teams to understand data needs and deliver accurate data sets.
• Support healthcare finance data processes, including billing, premiums, adjustments, and payments.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI handling, and data privacy standards.
• Document data creation processes, scenarios, and workflows clearly and consistently.
• Assist in payer workflow validation and plan configuration support.

Required Qualifications

• Strong healthcare payer domain experience in member, claims (pricing, adjudication), and provider data.
• Hands-on experience generating UI-based test data without backend or direct DB access.
• Experience with healthcare finance modules, including billing, premiums, adjustments, and payments.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI handling, and payer data privacy practices.
• Basic SQL proficiency.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
