Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced STIBO Developer to design, configure, and optimize enterprise MDM solutions using STIBO STEP. This role will focus on data modeling, integrations, workflows, governance, and performance tuning to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs within STIBO STEP.
  • Design and configure data models including domains, attributes, hierarchies, and classifications.
  • Develop workflows, lifecycle states, validation rules, and user interface components.
  • Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, file-based interfaces, and canonical data structures.
  • Implement data quality rules, stewardship processes, and match/merge strategies.
  • Optimize STEP performance, indexing, caching, and troubleshoot root-cause issues.
  • Support DevOps practices including CI/CD, environment promotion, and configuration versioning.
  • Prepare documentation, training materials, and provide clear communication to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience with STIBO Master Data Management.
  • Strong expertise with STIBO STEP 11.x configuration and customization.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, XML/XSD, XPath/XSLT, and API development.
  • Experience integrating STEP with ERP, PLM, DAM, or eCommerce systems.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to work independently and manage technical deliverables with minimal oversight.
