Sr Programmer Analyst

Job Description

Summary

The Sr Programmer Analyst supports complex enterprise systems by leading business analysis, functional design, and testing activities across the full software development lifecycle. This role focuses on delivering well-defined requirements, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring system quality and compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-level functional requirement documents for complex systems
• Perform business requirements analysis, gap analysis, and develop detailed functional requirements
• Execute full SDLC activities including requirements gathering and functional and technical documentation
• Develop functional design documents and coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals
• Create user stories, task breakdowns, and support Agile development initiatives
• Develop prototypes, mockups, flowcharts, and screen layouts for user review
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test reports with metrics
• Coordinate UAT, post-implementation testing, and defect resolution with business users
• Assist with enterprise architecture assessments, hosting documentation, and firewall rules
• Support drafting of change board documentation and implementation of RFCs
• Maintain and update system documentation following system upgrades
• Monitor applications during peak production periods and assist with user issues

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of business analysis experience supporting complex computer systems
• 8+ years of experience developing functional requirements for development projects
• 8+ years of experience developing and implementing test plans and test cases
• 5+ years of experience working within Agile development environments
• 8+ years of experience creating and maintaining system documentation
• 8+ years of experience developing training plans and materials
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar requirements and test case tracking tools
• Experience working with HIPAA-regulated data
• Ability to work onsite as required and attend in-person interviews

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite work two days per week.
