Job Description

Summary

An experienced automation professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic and vision systems to enhance manufacturing operations. This role supports integration, testing, optimization, and continuous improvement across advanced automation environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute robot and vision system programs including design, integration, run-off, and buyoff.
  • Develop and maintain FANUC robot programs including paths, tool setup, I/O mapping, and safety configurations.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize robotic motion control and vision system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while supporting deployment of new technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across automation projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and updates to teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or vision systems (3+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in FANUC robot programming (TP, KAREL, HandlingTool, Vision Guidance).
  • Experience working with vision system programming and debugging in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and troubleshoot complex issues.
