Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking a Product Support Specialist/Application Support Consultant to provide technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist end users in resolving application and system problems. This role supports day-to-day operations and ensures smooth continuity of business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and application issues.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and operating systems.
- Support SQL-based application issues using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Manage and resolve tickets through standard ticketing systems.
- Perform remote support using approved tools.
- Assist users in understanding technical solutions and system functions.
- Document issues, resolutions, and technical processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or technical support experience.
- Strong SQL query-writing skills using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
