Summary

Our client is seeking an Oracle Apex developer to support a mission-critical financial application responsible for major revenue streams. The role focuses on full-stack Apex development, complex SQL and PL/SQL logic, and maintaining performance and stability across enterprise Oracle environments. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced settings and delivers scalable, reliable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and develop browser-based applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Design and maintain custom Oracle applications, including data integration and conversion.
  • Develop SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data migration, external tables, joins, indexes, and sequences.
  • Optimize queries and perform PL/SQL performance tuning using tools such as SQL Trace and Explain Plan.
  • Debug complex applications and resolve defects efficiently in a high-demand environment.
  • Create dynamic and accurate reports using Oracle APEX reporting tools.
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and define technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as an Oracle APEX full-stack developer supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong background in SQL, PL/SQL, data integration, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with Oracle SQL logic, indexing, optimization, and shell scripting as needed.
  • Ability to write ad-hoc SQL queries and support ERP-integrated data workflows.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Oracle Apex custom applications.
  • Ability to gather requirements and lead solution design discussions.
