Job Description

Summary

This role leads technology strategy and execution across a software engineering domain, guiding multiple teams to deliver customer-facing products. The position drives engineering excellence, operational performance, and long-term platform strategy. The leader oversees delivery, talent development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on rapid iterations and excellent results
  • Cultivate engineering and operational excellence through best practices, metrics, and continuous learning
  • Hold accountability for delivery of technology initiatives across the full software stack
  • Develop a lean and scalable tech stack that supports global product launches
  • Simplify complex challenges and drive results across strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Collaborate with product and enterprise leaders to define long-term domain technology strategy
  • Lead design, user experience, platform integrations, performance, scalability, and best practices
  • Develop and manage delivery plans and report progress to senior leadership
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and incorporate feedback into solutions
  • Recruit, retain, and develop engineering talent across diverse skill sets
  • Own performance reviews, coaching, mentoring, and promotions for engineering staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fifteen or more years of engineering experience developing global customer-facing products
  • Seven or more years of management experience
  • Experience building large-scale CX and distributed multi-tenant platforms
  • Experience developing applications on public cloud and on-premise platforms
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and product strategy collaboration
  • Technical expertise in object-oriented programming, JavaScript frameworks, architecture, design patterns, Restful APIs, and CX engineering
  • Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to scale high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Experience in machine learning and generative AI
