Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking a Lead Software Engineer specializing in DevOps to support enterprise-level microservices, cloud-native systems, and large-scale automation. This role leads engineering initiatives, modernizes infrastructure, and enables high-performance, secure, and scalable platforms across the organization. The position requires strong leadership, hands-on DevOps expertise, and the ability to oversee complex distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple technology projects and guide a team of developers across machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems.
- Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud solutions supporting regulatory and operational needs.
- Apply modern technologies including Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and AWS services.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures and real-time intelligent systems across teams.
- Mentor engineers on DevOps best practices, automation, observability, and operational excellence.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, secure deployment workflows.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of enterprise applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- 4+ years of Unix/Linux system administration experience.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, automation, and cloud-native workflows.
