Summary

The Lead Business Systems Analyst serves as a key liaison between technology and business stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver complex system solutions. This role drives requirements analysis, workflow design, and functional specifications to support high impact technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface between technology teams and business or product stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Design and document workflows, process diagrams, and system behaviors.
  • Collaborate with project teams, product management, and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance to developers and test teams to ensure alignment with business and functional requirements.
  • Support system integration testing and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Review defects, participate in test result reviews, and support issue resolution.
  • Contribute to system documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Identify control gaps and recommend solutions to automate and improve business processes.
  • Align risk and control considerations within day to day project responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Six or more years of related experience in a technology focused business analysis role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience delivering complex technology solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to read and understand programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of agile development practices and methodologies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority.
