Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking a Lab Facilities Technician to support daily operations within an advanced electronics and engineering lab environment. This role ensures smooth functioning of lab infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems while providing hands-on technical and facilities support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain electronics-accredited lab infrastructure supporting electrical, safety, environmental, and FA testing equipment.
- Manage lab inventory, space allocation, and general facilities operations.
- Operate and support laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies.
- Assist with gas tank monitoring, replacement, and safety procedures.
- Support water filtration systems, calibration processes, and maintenance ticket management.
- Coordinate cross-functionally, provide clear communication, and generate documentation as needed.
- Ensure adherence to EHS safety protocols within the lab environment.
- Troubleshoot basic networking connections and equipment functionality.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in lab support, facilities operations, or related fields.
- Strong data management skills with proficiency in macOS/iOS, Word, Excel, and related tools.
- Knowledge of electronics lab equipment and measurement devices.
- Experience with inventory management, space planning, and operational workflows.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and support fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with gas and water system operations and calibration procedures.
- Understanding of workplace safety protocols in lab settings.
