Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a Lab Facilities Technician to support the daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of a high-tech electronics lab environment. This role ensures laboratory equipment, infrastructure, and safety systems run smoothly while supporting engineering teams and critical testing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support electronics lab infrastructure, equipment, and accredited testing environments.
  • Manage lab inventory, space utilization, and facility operations.
  • Operate and monitor lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads.
  • Support gas tank systems, water filtration systems, and general lab utilities.
  • Coordinate calibration activities, maintenance requests, and equipment lifecycle tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS safety protocols and lab compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and provide operational updates.
  • Perform data management, reporting, and documentation for leadership review.
  • Troubleshoot lab equipment and environmental systems to maintain smooth operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in lab support, facilities operations, or related technical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic measurement tools and basic lab equipment functionality.
  • Experience with inventory management, space planning, and operations tracking.
  • Proficiency in data management tools, MacOS/iOS, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic networking knowledge is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes, maintenance workflows, and ticketing systems.
  • Understanding of EHS protocols and lab safety procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work across teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of independent problem solving.
