Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain desktop and server environments, and ensure smooth daily IT operations. This role supports both office and manufacturing teams and requires hands-on troubleshooting and system administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for end users.
- Support desktop management tasks including imaging, patches, software updates, and remote tools.
- Maintain user accounts, permissions, and profiles across enterprise systems.
- Document procedures, system configurations, and support processes.
- Perform networking tasks including hardware/software setup and basic OSI model operations.
- Manage Active Directory tasks including user/group creation and permission updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support manufacturing floor technical needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of IT support experience.
- Experience with server configuration and OS support.
- Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
