IT Project Manager

Job Description

Summary

This role leads IT projects across digital transformation, applications, and hardware/software lifecycle initiatives. The project manager oversees scope, budgets, risks, and cross-functional coordination while leveraging emerging technologies including cloud, analytics, and AI. The position drives project planning, communication, and execution to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project management processes and methodologies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Provide strategic planning and leadership for IT engagements and stakeholder relationships
• Support resolution of project risks, actions, issues, and decisions
• Track and report metrics related to project success and productivity
• Ensure project documentation is current and accessible
• Communicate project status and escalate issues to stakeholders and senior management
• Mentor project managers and leaders within Supply Chain IT
• Use project management tools including HP Quality Center, Clarizen, IT Governance, and HALO
• Perform non-project activities including relationship management, team building, and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business management, or related field
• Eight or more years of project management experience delivering large IT projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with project management software and methodologies
• Ability to lead projects across various methodologies
• Strong time management, consensus-building, resource management, and presentation skills
• PMP certification
