Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking Epic Application Analysts at the Senior, Mid, and Associate levels to support key clinical system initiatives, including AI driven optimization and workflow enhancements. This role ensures the effective implementation, configuration, and support of Epic applications to improve operational performance and care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application, interface, and technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing validated solutions.
- Configure, build, modify, and test Epic modules to support optimized workflows and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, end users, and technical partners to identify requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Support system upgrades by evaluating workflow impacts, recommending best practices, and documenting changes.
- Maintain detailed documentation for build configurations, enhancements, and support procedures.
- Participate in workflow evaluations, requirements gathering, and system scope assessments for enhancements or new feature deployments.
- Provide user support, act as a liaison between operational departments and IT, and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Ensure system integration consistency across modules using standard interface protocols and vendor-provided tools.
- Engage in collaborative problem-solving with team members and stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
Senior Level:
- 8+ years of experience with healthcare applications or EMR systems (HS Diploma/GED), OR
- 7+ years with an Associate’s degree, OR
- 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
Mid Level:
- 6+ years of experience with healthcare applications or EMR systems (HS Diploma/GED), OR
- 5+ years with an Associate’s degree, OR
- 3+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
Associate Level:
- 4+ years of IT experience, preferably in healthcare (HS Diploma/GED), OR
- 3+ years with an Associate’s degree, OR
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
Preferred: Epic Certification, Proficiency, or Accreditation.
