Summary
The Director of Software Engineering leads multiple high-performing engineering teams responsible for building next-generation AI-driven marketing platforms. This role focuses on delivering scalable, resilient, and innovative full-stack solutions that modernize enterprise marketing workflows through automation, advanced analytics, and agentic AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and grow multiple product-focused software engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate marketing and business needs into technical strategies, application capabilities, and testing scenarios.
- Drive the design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of full-stack solutions across modern engineering platforms.
- Guide the transformation of legacy monolithic systems into scalable microservices architectures.
- Champion engineering excellence by improving development practices, delivery velocity, system availability, resilience, and scalability.
- Mentor engineers and engineering leaders, supporting both technical depth and career growth.
- Promote innovation through experimentation with emerging technologies, including AI and large language models, and encourage knowledge sharing across internal and external engineering communities.
- Lead efforts to deploy and operate applications within AWS environments, ensuring operational excellence and reliability.
- Collaborate across teams to improve cross-functional execution and overall engineering effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of seven years of professional software development experience.
- At least five years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
- Proven ability to deliver complex, large-scale software systems in Agile environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
