Summary

The Director of IT Delivery leads large-scale application development portfolios supporting life and annuity products. This role drives delivery excellence across multiple teams, ensuring high-quality, timely execution aligned with business strategy and modernization goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery for life and annuity application development initiatives across multiple technology teams
  • Lead and develop high-performing delivery, analysis, and quality engineering teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery planning, dependency management, and integration testing
  • Champion Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Drive technology modernization and process optimization aligned with cloud-first initiatives
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align strategy, execution, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
  • 10+ years of project or program management experience delivering complex initiatives
  • Strong expertise in Agile delivery frameworks and scaled delivery environments
  • Experience managing large portfolios within financial services or insurance organizations
  • Proven ability to influence and lead in matrixed environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with life insurance, annuities, or wealth management products
  • Experience supporting technology modernization and transformation initiatives
  • Exposure to AI-driven use cases or scalable AI solutions

Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, Portfolio Management Tools, Regression Testing Frameworks

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week.
