Summary

The Conference Center Technology Specialist delivers white-glove technology support for high-profile meetings, events, and virtual proceedings. This role ensures flawless execution of conference technology while providing exceptional client service in fast-paced professional environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver white-glove conference technology support for meetings, events, and virtual proceedings
  • Prepare, operate, and monitor conference room technology to ensure seamless execution
  • Partner with meeting hosts to understand objectives and align technical solutions
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot unified communication platforms
  • Perform daily room checks and maintain conference room hardware and systems
  • Configure and support audio systems, microphones, video conferencing, webcasts, and presentation equipment
  • Operate and support Crestron interfaces, Biamp systems, and related AV technologies
  • Maintain and update support documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with firmwide conference technology teams and support cross-office initiatives
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and work with vendors on repairs and upgrades
  • Respond calmly and professionally to critical technical issues while maintaining confidentiality

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant education, technical training, or equivalent hands-on experience supporting conference or AV environments
  • 1–3 years of experience providing audio-visual support in a conference center or professional setting
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Hands-on experience with conference room and unified communication technologies
  • Willingness to pursue and maintain AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist certification
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and adjust work hours as needed, including occasional weekends
