Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials to design, integrate, and support enterprise financial systems. This role partners closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, enhance critical financial processes, and support ongoing production operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions for Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials across multiple modules.
  • Perform systems analysis, application development, integration, enhancements, and ongoing support.
  • Manage deployments, upgrades, fixes, and reporting deliverables across financial applications.
  • Develop BI Publisher and OTBI reports and support cloud data conversions.
  • Implement integration plans using Oracle Integration Cloud and middleware technologies.
  • Support critical finance cycles including month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and 1099 reporting.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Provide evidence for IT audit processes and support ICFR, technology risk, internal audit, and external audit requirements.
  • Mentor team members and participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Advanced experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials (GL, AP, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Project Costing, Cash Management).
  • Strong experience with Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Expertise developing BI Publisher and OTBI reports.
  • Experience with Java, J2EE, ADF, SQL, and Oracle Data Conversion.
  • Hands-on experience with SOA Suite / Fusion Middleware integrations.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/SAFe methodologies, CI/CD, and version control tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver innovative technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
