Summary
The Network/Systems Engineer supports the availability, performance, and reliability of enterprise wireless network services. This role focuses on incident resolution, proactive monitoring, and continuous improvement within a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver optimal availability and quality for wireless network services
- Participate in daily stand-ups and use Kanban methodology to triage and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
- Support shift lead and queue management duties to ensure efficient assignment and resolution of escalated issues
- Perform proactive network monitoring, analysis, maintenance, patching, and documentation
- Provide recommendations to management for continuous improvements in communication, tools, technology, and processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of IT engineering experience or equivalent commensurate experience
- Strong experience supporting enterprise network and wireless environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
