Job Description
Summary
The Senior Oracle EBS Finance & Projects Analyst provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Suite Finance and Projects modules. This role focuses on supporting customizations, upgrades, and integrations while partnering closely with business users and IT teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Suite Finance and Projects modules
- Collaborate with business users to gather system specifications and business and technical requirements
- Create functional and technical specification documents to support customizations and extensions
- Complete change management activities and comply with SOX control requirements when applicable
- Apply project management principles, methodologies, and best practices across the project lifecycle
- Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as required
- Remediate and validate EBS application extensions and customizations for Finance and Projects
- Work with Oracle Support to identify and implement feasible solutions
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to support the EBS upgrade from Release 12.2.10 to 12.2.15
- Support overall service delivery and customer satisfaction as part of a large Oracle support team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or 10 years of equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Oracle eBusiness Suite modules
- Strong experience with Oracle Projects including Project Accounting, Project Billing, and Project Cost Management
- Experience integrating Oracle Projects with Inventory, Enterprise Asset Management, Oracle Time and Labor, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher reporting, and Oracle Workflow Builder
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS backend table structures
- Experience with Oracle Database 19C or higher
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle APEX development
- Experience with personalizations and extensions using Oracle Applications Framework
- Experience working in a multi-developer Oracle support environment
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS upgrades and large-scale remediation efforts
