Summary

The Senior Software Engineer for Feature and Experience leads technical analysis, testing, and automation to deliver high quality digital vehicle experiences. This role partners across engineering and business teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and customer focused software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform deep technical analysis of incoming software features and user experiences.
  • Define gaps and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for owned features.
  • Build and execute automated test cases for bench and in vehicle environments.
  • Establish and improve methodologies to enhance software quality and release readiness.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned features or experiences.
  • Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across multiple engineering pillars.
  • Partner with product and business stakeholders to align technical strategy with long term outcomes.
  • Champion modern engineering practices including CI CD, automation, observability, and performance optimization.
  • Track and manage work through detailed Jira follow through.
  • Mentor engineers and foster collaboration across globally distributed teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of automotive or infotainment engineering experience.
  • Four or more years of experience in the automotive industry or with direct suppliers.
  • Hands on experience with bench and in vehicle testing and validation.
  • Strong experience developing and executing automated test solutions.
  • Proven success delivering digital features with a focus on quality, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
