Job Description

Summary

UI UX Designer responsible for designing developing and maintaining responsive WordPress based web experiences. This role combines user experience design with front end development to deliver accessible secure and high performing digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop WordPress websites themes and plugins.
  • Create responsive user focused designs for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and implement UI UX solutions.
  • Implement ADA and accessibility standards across web properties.
  • Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs to support dynamic content delivery.
  • Perform performance tuning security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
  • Maintain documentation and follow DevOps and agile development practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
  • Strong experience with PHP JavaScript HTML CSS Bootstrap and jQuery.
  • Experience building custom themes and plugins including use of Advanced Custom Fields.
  • At least two years of experience with ADA accessibility tools and remediation.
  • Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Strong communication collaboration and time management skills.
