Summary

The Senior iOS Engineer partners closely with a financial services client to design, build, and enhance a large-scale consumer-facing mobile application. This role focuses on delivering high-quality iOS experiences through strong technical execution, collaboration, and ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver new features for a large-scale consumer-facing iOS application.
  • Translate product requirements into clear and actionable engineering tasks.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable Swift code.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to drive product vision and execution.
  • Review code and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Debug complex issues and proactively improve application performance and stability.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Seven or more years of software engineering experience with at least four years focused on iOS development.
  • Strong expertise in Swift with experience using UIKit and SwiftUI.
  • Solid understanding of iOS architectural patterns, ideally MVVM.
  • Proven experience building production-ready consumer-facing mobile applications.
  • Experience working within financial services environments.
  • Ability to work onsite in New York City three days per week.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
