Job Description
Summary
The Information Security Solutions Analyst supports the secure design, evaluation, and implementation of enterprise systems and cybersecurity initiatives. This role acts as a technical liaison between information security, architecture, and internal and external partners to ensure security by design principles, regulatory alignment, and data protection are embedded across all technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Information Security within architecture review and governance processes to ensure security alignment across strategic and technical initiatives.
- Evaluate systems and projects for compliance with security architecture standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational risk appetite.
- Apply security by design principles throughout system lifecycles from design through deployment and decommissioning.
- Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for new technologies, integrations, and third-party systems.
- Provide guidance and oversight for secure system configuration, access controls, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with managed service providers and technology partners to ensure secure implementation and ongoing compliance.
- Support data protection initiatives including data classification, labeling, and loss prevention controls.
- Ensure systems are configured to support incident detection, response, and operational resilience.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, workflows, dashboards, and security reporting artifacts.
- Support audits, assessments, and leadership reporting related to security posture and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or security engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience supporting security architecture or engineering initiatives and secure system design.
- Experience working with data protection technologies such as data loss prevention, classification, labeling, and endpoint protection.
- Exposure to security governance frameworks including NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
- Experience collaborating with external vendors or managed service providers.
- Strong technical documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
