Summary

The Senior Program Manager leads large-scale business and technical programs focused on benefit plan product implementations and supporting IT initiatives. This role manages multiple workstreams, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, and ensures successful delivery of complex programs within the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent business and technical workstreams within a single enterprise program.
  • Lead benefit plan product implementations and associated infrastructure and software initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with FEPOC and BCBSA counterparts to plan, execute, and deliver program objectives.
  • Oversee program planning, scheduling, risk management, and dependency tracking across teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals, technical execution, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide program-level reporting, governance updates, and escalation management.
  • Drive adherence to program management best practices and delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Ten or more years of overall program management experience.
  • Three or more years of experience managing benefit plan implementations or large-scale software or infrastructure programs.
  • Active PMP certification or PgMP certification.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Ability to manage complex programs with multiple projects and stakeholders.
