Job Description

Summary

The Senior Engineering Manager leads data and AI engineering teams responsible for building intelligent marketplace products at global scale. This role drives strategy, execution, and people leadership across machine learning, data engineering, analytics, and software engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute multi year strategy for data and AI driven marketplace products
  • Lead and mentor engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers
  • Set priorities and balance speed, quality, and delivery across an ambitious roadmap
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to deliver AI and data products from concept to production
  • Collaborate cross functionally with pricing, guest experience, host tools, trust, infrastructure, and customer service teams
  • Coach team members to support career growth, technical excellence, and strong collaboration

Required Qualifications

  • Twelve or more years of industry experience with five to seven years in engineering management
  • Proven experience delivering scalable data and machine learning products to consumers
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute long term technical strategies and roadmaps
  • Strong people leadership experience including hiring, mentoring, and retaining top talent
  • Experience leading teams in fast paced and highly cross functional environments
