Multimodal AI Product Designer

Job Description

Summary

This role designs end-to-end multimodal AI-driven user experiences, focusing on visual, voice, and conversational interfaces. The designer will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and innovative AI-powered interactions. This position supports the evolution of multimodal customer experiences through user-centric design practices and emerging AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and mid- to high-fidelity mockups
• Develop multimodal prototypes incorporating visuals, voice, and sound
• Create scalable UI components and interaction patterns with clear documentation
• Design intuitive interfaces for complex AI-driven workflows across generations and form factors
• Present, test, and refine designs based on feedback
• Track industry trends and adapt design strategies to evolving AI and ML capabilities
• Translate complex actions into simple and compelling user experiences
• Collaborate across design, research, engineering, and product teams to deliver aligned solutions

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience designing complex software products
• Two or more years integrating AI or complex workflows into design practices
• Experience designing conversational AI, LLM interfaces, or voice-powered solutions
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, interaction design, and multimodal execution
• Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques and emerging design tools
• Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies
• Experience using and experimenting with AI tools
• Ability to operate independently while thriving in cross-functional collaboration
• Hypothesis-driven design mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
