Job Description

Summary

This role designs, implements, and supports large-scale enterprise networks across multiple data centers, branches, and cloud environments. The engineer leads modernization initiatives, optimizes network architecture, resolves complex issues, and contributes to automation efforts. This position requires deep expertise in datacenter networking, routing, and cloud-managed solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions across data centers, branches, and cloud environments
  • Evaluate and implement new networking technologies and tools
  • Develop long-term objectives and modernization efforts for network infrastructure
  • Contribute to automation initiatives for recurring and critical tasks
  • Mentor team members and support cross-functional teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support for critical incidents

Required Qualifications

  • Eight or more years of network engineering experience
  • Expertise designing and supporting datacenter networks using Spine-Leaf, VXLAN, and EVPN with Cisco Nexus
  • Advanced routing experience with BGP and OSPF
  • Experience designing and supporting cloud-managed networks including SD-WAN, switching, and wireless, especially Cisco Meraki
  • Experience using Python, Ansible, and Terraform for automation
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • Industry certifications such as CCIE or CCNP
  • Experience with cloud environments including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure
  • Experience with monitoring and performance tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana with Prometheus, and Wireshark

Cisco Nexus, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP and OSPF, Cisco Meraki, Python, Ansible, Terraform, SolarWinds, Grafana with Prometheus, Wireshark & Cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, and Azure
