Job Description

Summary

This role develops and integrates software for vehicle interfaces and embedded systems used for flash and test operations. The developer collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, IT, and plant teams to deliver seamless system integration. The position supports code development, testing, customization, and enterprise-wide problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and test software for vehicle interfaces and embedded systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure integration with external systems
  • Support plants, product engineering, IT, and internal teams with software solutions
  • Track work progress, document development, and share lessons learned
  • Assist with code development, porting test code, and customizing software for new environments
  • Identify risks and resolve integration gaps across the enterprise

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of hardware and embedded systems
  • Proficiency with USB, TCP/IP, and SQL
  • Strong C++ coding and unit testing experience
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence or similar tools
  • Ability to write code and manage integration issues with an enterprise-wide perspective
