Summary

This role supports full-spectrum security operations across Collateral, SCI, and SAP programs for a U.S. Space Force customer. The specialist manages personnel, physical, industrial, and information security requirements while ensuring compliance with DoD standards. The position provides security expertise, oversees access processes, and supports audits, inspections, and secure facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee processes across physical, information, personnel, and industrial security
• Manage personnel security operations using DISS and JADE
• Verify accesses, create Program Access Requests, and determine eligibility as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Officer
• Execute the Special Access Program Nomination Process and coordinate SCI nominations
• Support handling and destruction of classified materials and manage data transfer processes
• Process and maintain inbound and outbound visit notices
• Coordinate and execute in/out processing for personnel and provide access control for secure facilities
• Escort visitors and manage logs and badging
• Create and update security policies and SOPs including OPSEC plans
• Review Security Classification Guides for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct facility reviews and close-outs for supported programs
• Travel to support program teams and customer engagements
• Ensure compliance with DoD security directives and DD-254 requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Ten or more years of DoD experience including four or more years in SAP or SCI environments
• Willingness to complete a Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph
• Experience with classified systems including Scattered Castles, JWICS, and SGN
• Knowledge of DoD security policies including DoDM 5200.01, DoDM 5105.21, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705-02
• Understanding of DD-254 requirements
• Strong collaboration, coordination, and communication skills
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Completion of CDSE Security Specialist Course and SP?D Certification Program preferred
