Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack (JavaScript/TypeScript)
Job Description
Summary
This role leads full stack engineering initiatives focused on distributed microservices and cloud-based solutions. The engineer drives technical strategy, mentors development teams, and delivers scalable systems that support regulatory and customer-focused needs. The position blends hands-on engineering with leadership and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead diverse technology projects and guide teams building distributed microservices and full stack systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to internal and external technology communities
- Mentor engineering team members and foster continuous learning
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions
- Develop solutions using JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, and open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Utilize container orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes and AWS tools and services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least four years of experience in software engineering
- At least one year of experience with cloud computing including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
