Summary

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Specialized Developer to support complex trading platform initiatives within a high-performance capital markets environment. This role focuses on backend development, FIX protocol integrations, and building scalable, resilient trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead backend design, development, and integration of high-performance trading systems.
  • Adapt and refine system functionality based on trader and stakeholder feedback.
  • Support and enhance existing trading systems, ensuring stability and optimization.
  • Build technical documentation including solution diagrams and trade flow specifications.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advance real-time messaging and application integration.
  • Perform unit testing, participate in test execution, and support production activities.
  • Collaborate across teams to strengthen system availability and integration capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience developing complex backend software solutions.
  • Strong expertise in high-performance, real-time systems (TCP, HTTP, MQ, FIX).
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, C++, and Oracle Database.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools, CI/CD, Git, Linux, shell scripting, and Windows server environments.
  • Experience within capital markets—Fixed Income, Credit, rates, or trading platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to support diverse technical stakeholders.
