Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead PHP-Laravel Developer to architect and deliver a modern product pricing platform. This role requires deep Laravel, Vapor, and Elastic Search expertise and will play a critical part in modernizing enterprise systems and supporting Marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical direction, development cycles, and daily engineering activities for core platform delivery.
  • Architect backend APIs using Laravel/Vapor and ensure scalable deployment practices.
  • Design and optimize Elastic Search indices, clusters, and ingestion pipelines.
  • Build utilities in Elastic console and ensure high-performance search capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define features and align technical work with business goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bottlenecks, and bugs.
  • Ensure robust code quality, documentation, security, and maintainability.
  • Support integration efforts with Azure, AEM, ETL tools, and other enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–20 years of software development experience with PHP and Laravel.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on development and engineering leadership.
  • 2–3+ years at Principal or Lead level.
  • Strong experience with Laravel/Vapor for serverless deployment.
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of Elastic Search architecture, clustering, indexing, and optimization.
  • Experience designing Elastic Search–based solutions and integrations with Laravel/Vapor.
  • Proficiency with Git, debugging tools, and performance analysis.
  • Ability to mentor teams and lead large-scale platform development.

Tech Stack

Laravel, PHP, Vapor, Elastic Search, Azure, AEM, ETL tools, Git, Log debugging tools (e.g., Rollbar), CI/CD tools.
