Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to lead cloud strategy, solution design, and delivery across enterprise-wide modernization programs. This role drives architecture governance, Azure platform execution, and Copilot Studio implementation while partnering with cross-functional and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define scope, roadmaps, budgets, governance models, and lead Agile/Scaled Agile ceremonies.
  • Oversee Azure architecture, including landing zones, networking, security, data, app modernization, and automation.
  • Review high-level and low-level designs, migration plans, and operational runbooks.
  • Guide execution of Azure services such as AKS, App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Hub/Service Bus, ADLS Gen2, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Key Vault, and Monitor.
  • Ensure adherence to Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Monitor and manage cloud cost optimization, reliability, capacity, and operational performance.
  • Lead Copilot Studio initiatives, including design of copilots, prompts, actions, secure data grounding, integrations, telemetry, and lifecycle management.
  • Drive Responsible AI and enterprise governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, security, data, and operations teams.
  • Communicate metrics, risks, and progress to executive leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years leading cloud programs or large-scale technical project management, preferably on Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with at least three Azure services: AKS, Functions, App Service, ADF, Databricks, Synapse, PostgreSQL, Event Hub/Service Bus, Key Vault, Monitor/Log Analytics.
  • Practical experience designing and deploying copilots/bots using Copilot Studio or Power Platform.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and Agile leadership skills.
