Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a Product Support Specialist/Application Support Consultant to provide technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist end users in resolving application and system problems. This role supports day-to-day operations and ensures smooth continuity of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and operating systems.
  • Support SQL-based application issues using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Manage and resolve tickets through standard ticketing systems.
  • Perform remote support using approved tools.
  • Assist users in understanding technical solutions and system functions.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and technical processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or technical support experience.
  • Strong SQL query-writing skills using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
