Summary

Our client is seeking a Sr. Power BI Developer with strong banking domain experience, including Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives. The role focuses on developing Power BI dashboards, reports, SQL-based data solutions, and supporting large-scale data warehousing initiatives. This position requires deep expertise in reporting, data modeling, and cross-functional collaboration with business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and define reporting solutions.
  • Perform data modeling using Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain DAX queries.
  • Build paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
  • Query and manage SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide rapid solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of combined experience in data warehousing, BI, analytics, and reporting.
  • 5+ years of experience with relational and multidimensional (OLAP) data modeling.
  • Strong SQL skills with relational and dimensional database structures.
  • Expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query/Power Pivot.
  • Experience with paginated reporting and Power BI Report Builder.
  • Strong banking domain knowledge: Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives.
  • Ability to analyze user requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
