Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to design and oversee complex enterprise ecosystems spanning on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-native environments. This role requires deep expertise in distributed architecture, Java/Spring Boot systems, and secure, compliant solution design. The architect will drive technology strategy, govern architecture standards, and guide teams across mission-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions across on-premises, off-premises, and cloud-native environments.
  • Design distributed systems focused on low latency, high throughput, resilience, and scalability.
  • Apply enterprise patterns including microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Ensure secure, compliant architecture aligned with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.
  • Establish and lead an Architecture Center of Excellence to drive standardization and governance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define architecture principles, guidelines, and reference models.
  • Develop technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide architectural mentorship and oversight to engineering teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture.
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based systems.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including hybrid/on-prem integrations.
  • Deep understanding of networking, SQL/NoSQL databases, system observability, and API design.
  • Proven experience ensuring compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR standards.
