Job Description
Summary
Our client is seeking an IT&S Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for end users across hospital and office environments. This role ensures reliable operation of end-user devices, supports clinical application workflows, and contributes to performance, maintenance, and recovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and onsite technical support and training for end users.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and workflow validation for clinical applications.
- Investigate issues between applications, interfaced systems, and hardware devices.
- Coordinate with vendors on break/fix issues, installations, and hardware maintenance.
- Participate in disaster recovery, backup, and recovery drills.
- Travel to office locations as needed to complete support duties.
- Perform hardware replacements, inventory control, RMAs, and device maintenance.
- Support Epic end-user device installations, updates, configurations, and peripherals.
- Assist with Citrix/Hyperspace access methods and clinical device troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant IT support experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience supporting hardware components (boards, RAM, drives, scanners, printers).
- Strong communication, documentation, time management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and end-user training.
- Knowledge of asset management tools such as ServiceNow or Excel systems.
