Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior VR/AR Developer to lead the creation and enhancement of immersive training solutions within the maintenance training environment. This role will guide a growing team, develop interactive simulations, and support innovation across VR/AR learning technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the VR/AR technology and development team
  • Develop immersive VR/AR content for maintenance training programs
  • Update existing simulations and environments as technical or procedural requirements change
  • Conduct QA testing to ensure training materials are accurate, effective, and user-friendly

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Interactive Media, Game Design, or related field
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification preferred
  • 5+ years of VR/AR development experience (Unity or Unreal Engine)
  • Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and technical documentation
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical development environment
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance or aviation-related training content preferred
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and adaptable to evolving requirements
