Job Description

Summary

Our client is seeking a Designer, Website and Online Content to support web content management, front-end design, and the maintenance of online platforms. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, accessible, and timely website content while collaborating with multiple departments to enhance user experience and support organizational communication goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and update website, intranet, and social media content using content management systems.
• Design and maintain web pages and graphical elements using HTML, CSS, and related tools.
• Collaborate with IT and Communications teams to develop and implement new website features.
• Proofread and verify materials to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance prior to posting.
• Optimize PDF files and electronic documents for accessibility and online performance.
• Ensure all online content meets Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Support various departments in identifying website needs and executing updates.
• Manage processes for content requests, approvals, and online updates.
• Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, graphic design, or related field plus 3 years of professional web design and content management experience.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience designing and maintaining UI elements and online content.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and job-specific applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
